Jean Monnet Module on Legal Expertise for Governance, Equality and New Development in Sports

About LEGENDS

LEGENDS is a Jean Monnet Module co-funded by the European Commission to establish an advanced, EU-relevant training program in Sports Law, designed to strengthen legal literacy and governance capacity in the sports sector.
Through a multidisciplinary approach, it connects law, economics, policy, and practice, offering professionals, athletes, managers, and organizations the tools to navigate complex legal frameworks, ensure compliance, and promote integrity across all levels of sport.

Innovation and
E-Sports

Recognizing the growing importance of E-sports, LEGENDS expands this framework to address the unique legal, ethical, and governance challenges of the digital sports ecosystem.
The program explores emerging issues such as players’ rights, contracts, data protection, and competition law, preparing professionals and stakeholders to operate within a rapidly evolving and largely unregulated field.
